I'm a content creator and a skilled communicator adept at crafting narratives for a diverse set of audiences: technical writing, copywriting, humor. I refuse to pick one.
I'm currently Team Lead, Content Direction and Community at Canary, where I've created and manage all self-service content for the help center. I manage editorial operations, identify opportunities for new content, and am a staunch advocate for the user experience. On top of that, I've standardized language for written communications, authored the user guide, assembled and standardized an 80 hour training program for all new Customer Experience employees, and much more.
Before Canary, I was a knowledge base contributor at Squarespace, where I got my feet wet with basic web programming. Prior to that, I was a trainer for Apple, creating customer workshops and on-boarding new employees. I continue to work as an independent freelance copywriter, and make big ideas happen with Brand Now.
I'm also a comedian. I've worked with the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, spent a lifetime performing improv and writing sketch comedy, and even managed to trick McSweeney's into publishing a short imagined monologue.
